Free Access to Every Board Party All Year Long, we throw sick parties with good beer and great music. For non board club members this costs money and we therefore charge for entrance to these parties--usually five bucks--a nominal fee we think considering the caliber of the entertainment it affords. None-the-less, as a Board Club member these petty issues of entrance fees apply only to others. We typically have at least two sick parties a quarter so add it up.
Access to board club trips is the most significant benefit of being a member and the reason why most of our members bother to join in the first place (the obscure promise of future parties seems to slip peoples' minds as they reach into their wallets). We take many trips, all of which consist mainly of non-stop rockstar-like partying sprinkled lightly with various board-based activities. The most notorious of these events is definitely the annual AllCal trip where we take bus loads of SD board clubers up to Park City, UT to board and rage for a week, this is the best powder you are ever going to hit. Not to mention the reason its called the AllCal is because we are partying with all the other UC board clubs in Utah also. There is also the NorCal trip, where all the UC board clubs converge on Tahoe for a three day weekend to board and rage, and the SoCal trip where all the UC board clubs head to Mammoth for a weekend. We also organize club trips to Mammoth, Tahoe and Bear Mt. during the snow season, a wake-boarding trip over Memorial Day Weekend, the occasional Baja surf trip, and other shit like that. You must, yes must, be a member to rage it on these journeys. So what are you waiting for?!
HOW TO JOIN:
Come to a meeting and give us yo money! It's that simple! And yes we do accept checks and no we don't accept credit cards. Don't try to join at one of the parties, we're generally way too busy to deal with memberships and even if we're not we'll probably just lose your information anyway (the parties are kinda crazy).
